LET’S BE REAL.

Marketing is not complicated. Working in an industry that's purpose is to inspire action and evoke emotion -is total work bliss.

There is nothing too complex, too strategic that one couldn't figure out to make an impact and many self-starter brands do it all the time without any help.

What complicates it are the influences of algorithms, an over saturation of content and the feeling of 'having to be everywhere to be seen' and by default causes good brands to begin to loose their own identity.

The brands however who can keep to their brand values, messages and followers regardless of the market demands and distractions- always win.

How? with 3 c’s.

Content, Consistency and Community.

Having observed brands and marketing strategies from both the round table and as a supporting player, I have absorbed and learned first hand the power of these three core functionalities.

Inevitably when the brands who struggled to move a product launch or increase engagement or a campaign message failed to inspire - it was always because one of these three core values was missing. Whether the content felt inauthentic, or the approach kept changing and confusing the audience or the persona of the brand was being misrepresented -- those C's always needed to be in place for proven success.

Content that speaks to your brand with a studied approach of who, what, where and why resonates the most impact. Discovering of a Consistent messaging that feels authentic to you and your brand because if you don't believe what you are saying, then who will.

Eat, sleep and breathe this messaging across every platform and aspect of your brand.

Train your Community. We are social beings who like to have predicability and associations -- it's what helps us ignore the things that don't apply to our interest and lives. No one wants to give even an ounce of their time to a brand that isn't relevant to them, period.

That’s my strategy and belief — that marketing can be successful AND simple oh and chic of course (definitely needs to be chic.)
